About MBBS

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) is an acknowledged degree course in medical sciences. This course enables students to become qualified doctors.

It takes five years six months for a student to complete MBBS, including a compulsory internship of 1 year.

Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria

The essential qualification for admissions to the MBBS is:

  • The students must have passed Class 10+2 from a known board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects.
  • For students in the general categories, the minimum percentage shall be at least 50%.
  • For students in the reserve categories, the minimum percentage shall be at least 40%.
  • The minimum age for MBBS is 17-25 years.
