About MTech (Master of Technology)
M.Tech is basically a professional postgraduation course or degree which can be pursued after B.Tech, that is, Bachelor of Technology which is itself a four-year degree programme.
Master of Technology (MTech) is a two-year degree programme includes technological research and attract devotees from almost every part of the world and provide them a field to pursue their research in masters in technology.
There are basically two options to pursue the M.Tech degree programme, an aspirant can pursue the M.Tech degree either by part time way or full time way.

Admission Process, Eligibility, And Entrance Examination
Eligibility Criteria
To pursue M.Tech, a person must hold the degree of B.Tech and they should have qualified GATE with a recognized score.
Students who have completed the five year degree programme and received a degree in M.sc ( Masters in Science) are also eligible to pursue the M.Tech degree programme.
Entrance Examination
If a student is planning to pursue M.Tech in some of the top colleges in India then he or she has to qualify GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Examination.
The examination occurs around the month of February. The student can get admission as per their rank in GATE Examination.

The career opportunities for M.Tech graduates and their demand by various companies and research centres are quite high. Some of the fields that an M.Tech graduate can seize the opportunity in are mentioned below-
